Justin and I met at college almost six years before our wedding. We both have a love for the outdoors and nature, but autumn in Michigan can be hit or miss with an outdoor wedding so we found an alternative in Planterra Conservatory - a beautiful greenhouse in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Once the venue was secured, we started dress hunting. I had recently pinned Dori on my wedding board, and looked all over to find her. On a business trip to New York, I made a spur of the moment appointment at Kleinfeld, and my mom flew out from Michigan the day before the appointment to be there with me. The rest was history. The theme of the wedding centered around Dori, with the accent colors being gold, cream, and black, with jeweled accents. The greenery of the conservatory served as the perfect backdrop. The morning of the wedding was raining cats and dogs, but we had the best time of our lives. Surrounded by 134 of our closest friend and family, we became husband and wife!
